I’m a big Ken Burns fan, but I was disappointed in this most recent release. Perhaps it’s the unflattering picture painted of Hemingway, or perhaps it’s just that Hemingway was a most unpleasant man. but this release pales in comparison to “Vietnam” or “The Civil War” or other Burns’s master works. Madeleine, I would give an opinion if I had been watching the series. While I know Hemingway is complex and important, I find it hard to be interested in him past reading about his four wives!!
