Rufi Thorpe’s Margo’s Got Money Troubles, is, according to the New York Times Book Review, “An enormously entertaining and lovable book.” Margo, the heroine, accidently gets pregnant due to an unexpected affair with her English professor. She finds herself dealing with a baby she certainly wanted but hadn’t thought about how she would manage with no job and no prospects of one. What she does to remedy the situation is unexpected, amazing and lots of fun!

How they each navigate challenging situations proves to be, as the Washington Post put it, “An engaging, character-driven saga.”
