Even if you are not a soccer fan, you have surely been seeing articles surrounding the World Cup coming up this summer and how expensive the tickets are. I certainly cannot comment on that specific topic exept to say that I would not go to it unless I had a grandson playing in a game!! But the book featured above has been praised for its comprehensive coverage of the history of the World Cup. In case you might ask yourself “Why the big deal over the World Cup?”, just read this book. Or, you could gift the book to a friend who might be a soccer (football in most of the world) fan.
