Pete and Alice in Maine, Caitlin Shetterly

Very few people have fond memories of the pandemic days, however, this novel will interest readers because it is said to be very well writtten and hits upon themes we all encountered. Alice and Pete and their children flee New York City for their second home in Maine. Sound familiar? Give this book a read, then.

Between Two Strangers, Kate White

One critic calls this book a “deliciously addictive chiller.” It is about a woman who recieves a huge inheritence from someone she had a one night stand with years prior to the start of the book. Find out why the money was left to her and the dangers that await her.

The Other Side of Mrs. Wood, Lucy Barker

This historical novel harkens back to Victorian England and the life of a medium, a seer named Violet Wood. What happens to Violet’s seances when she takes on an apprentice who may or may not be good for business?
